Welcome! I am Teresa; breeder, caretaker, and operator of Locolady Danes. I am located in Coldspring, TX. Near Lake Livingston and 60 miles north of Houston. My life partner Richard and I own and operate a 50-acre ranch. We love our cattle and Great-Danes. We are dedicated to the love and care of all of our animals. Our Dane program contains OFA and Embark health testing. All of our beloved Danes are AKC Registered.

About 15 years ago I had rescued two Danes. One named Tiny and the other named Sadie. Over time I became very attached to them. I obtained my license as a veterinary assistant to better care for any animals I may come across. I decided that I wanted to share the same type of love that I had found in these animals with others. That is when I started my breeding program. Richard and I had developed a 40ft x 80ft metal barn with a 575 sq. ft. add on of indoor-outdoor climate-controlled kennels. Inside of the barn is set up with a full living space, bathroom, kitchenette, and laundry area so that we can provide the best type of care for our furry friends. We also have three enclosed yard areas, and our Danes are able to run our full 50 acres.
ABOUT ME
After a litter of puppies are born they are watched over and cared for 24/7 for three weeks. Every two weeks they get a deworming treatment. At 4, 6, 8, 10, & 12 weeks they receive vaccinations. If requested, I can have a pup microchipped at 6 weeks of age for an additional fee. All of my puppies are socialized with people, used to all types of noises, and desensitized to touch by lots of human interaction. They are all started on kennel training as puppies. Majority of them know how to sit and give paw before going to their new forever home.
My price average is $2500 depending on litter/color.
I do offer full AKC rights for an extra fee.
